Our Entry

Annja Louca is a Chartered Accountant, maintaining active professional registrations with both SAICA and ICAEW, and the founder of Anlo SA and Anlo UK, two independently operated and highly successful accounting firms. Anlo SA, based in Johannesburg, has been serving clients for over 13 years, while Anlo UK, based in Edinburgh, has been thriving for 8 years. Her professional journey reflects how chartered accountancy has empowered her to build businesses that are both financially sound and socially impactful.

Annja is deeply committed to authenticity in everything she and Anlo do—especially in today’s fast-changing world where trust and transparency matter more than ever. This value is reflected in her leadership, her client relationships, and the way her firms operate across borders.

Anlo UK is actively involved in the Small Practice Forum in Scotland, where Annja helps support firms like hers in delivering high-impact services to small businesses. Anlo SA is run by Esmerelda Doman, and Annja works closely with her to ensure that the knowledge and expertise developed in the UK are shared across both firms.

An experienced coach, Annja has completed formal coaching education and continues to engage in coaching supervision. She integrates coaching principles into her daily work, helping business owners move from where they are now to where they want to go. Her approach is deeply personal and purpose-driven, combining accounting, coaching, and technology to improve lives.

This philosophy is embedded in Anlo Academy, a training and support initiative developed to help small businesses harness the full potential of cloud accounting. Through Anlo Academy, Annja and her team deliver tailored training that incorporates coaching tools to suit the learning styles of both business owners and their employees—empowering them to take control of their finances and make confident decisions.

A strong advocate for technology, Annja uses platforms like Xero and other cloud-based tools to provide real-time insights and streamline financial management. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to education, transformation, and integrity—values that align with the spirit of the SAICA Chairman’s Awards.
