Are you sure you have submitted your 2017 Income tax return?

If you haven’t submitted your tax return, SARS might raise non-submission penalties every month until you submit your tax return. And if you have a tax liability, a 10% late payment penalty also applies.

You can determine if you need to submit prior year returns but getting a statement of account from SARS. On the bottom of this statement it will indicate if you have any outstanding returns. SARS will also be able to answer this question if you give them a call on 0800 00 7277.

We can also help you make sure your returns are submitted and if possible, object against the penalties.
